I'm glad! Merry Christmas!!
hell yeah!
ngl I'll always admire people who can make more detailed madness combat fanart while keeping the characters recognizable as being from madness combat
Man that means so much honestly, thank you!!
the cap, the boy, the imbecile bird
the legendary milfhoonter,the cumdrinker,the phoenix
it seems like someone skipped leg day...
jokes aside I love the personality this guy has and how you managed to convey it with poses alone. and the little eyes with their tiny legs are adorable
Hey appreciate the kind words! Yeah I like the tiny little legs as well.

a funky guy indeed, really loving how you managed to put a lot of different, bright colors yet still make it feel consistent
Thanks, glad to hear. I've been working on my color choice lately and learning how all the different colors relate to each other.
wasn't expecting a sketchy linework work so well with a smooth coloring, but it does.
Love the contrasting values and grayscale coloring, it really sets the mood here.
i think pasting everything together in the same layer paid off since it helped to incorporate that mess of the lineart, plus scribbly textures on the coloring might have helped a little bit too
not only you character dessign is incredibly creative and badass, but I love the little descriptions you give them.
hey thanks! twitter has gotten me to keep it really lean and try and add some mystery as well.

Ignoring the fact that it gets past the 16 color limit, that dithering gives me some neat pc98 vibes.
There's some banding in some areas (mainly, the humans' arms, but making arms without banding is hard so it's not a major issue) and the shading feels inconsistent in some parts (the contrast between the dithering in the floor and walls vs the much cleaner shading in the couch's arm rest), but it's a very solid piece anyway.
Thank you! I appreciate the in depth critique. The piece definitely has its issues, largely due to some heavy experimenting during the creating process on my part, but I learned quite a bit from it so overall I'd call it a success.
This is fantastic and is very detailed, I love it!
My main pet peeve would be how the trunk of the tree, which is relatively small, and the sky, which being the background isn't really the focus of the pic, have more colors than most of the folliage, which is a huge part of the main object in the image. Also I feel that the grass could use less banding in the borders.
That said the pastel color palette makes it look very soft and nostalgic, I also like how the tree stands out with the use of complimentaries and the shape of the tree.
EDIT: I meant the sky, which has about 7 shades of blue if I counted correctly, and while the leaves have 5 colors in total most of that area uses only three colors of those 5 (but tbh since the other 2 colors are much darker it'd look jarring if those were used in the rest of the folliage). Also yes, I said the colors but meant the amount of detail.
I mean, the trunk and grass have 4 colors to them, and the tree has 5,so im not entirely sure what you are referring to, but in general i dont think the ammount of colors used neets to speek to the importance in the piece. If you mean the depth of the detail looks a bit inconsistant maybe? but idk. I think there's still a good enough balance because the blue has more visual weight than the yellow against the sky.
though i thank you for your criticism. i dont know how i overlooked the banding.
Lurker mostly, I like music, pixel art and horror art. Sometimes I create content too.
English isn't my native language so sorry in advance if I sound ruder than intended.
